The role focuses on maintaining, securing, and improving our internal infrastructure across Windows Server, Hyper‑V, SQL Server, Active Directory, and networking. The candidate should excel at solving complex technical problems, work independently, and support a highly available environment while contributing to cyber security best practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Extensive experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Windows networking.
• Proficient in Hyper‑V and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Experience with storage, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Able to document configurations and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administering and maintaining Windows Server environments.
• Managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Administering Hyper‑V virtualization infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting SQL Server environments.
• Managing enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitoring infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routing.
• Troubleshooting server, storage, networking, virtualization, and OS issues.
• Planning infrastructure upgrades and system improvements.
• Applying OS, firmware, and security patches; implementing cybersecurity best practices.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and diagrams.
• Supporting office infrastructure and IT projects across locations.
• Collaborating with engineering, development, and security teams.
• Learn ThreatLocker products thoroughly; on‑call/after hours support when required.
