Job summary

Center Parcs Longford Forest in Ireland is hiring to support the Pool Manager in a busy Subtropical Swimming Paradise. You will help manage budgets, lead a large team and supervise daily operations while ensuring water quality and safety standards.

This full-time role requires RLSS Pool Lifeguard / IWS qualification, First Aid, strong communication and customer service. Garda vetting is required before starting; a supportive team and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage large teams in a guest-facing environment.

Support the Pool Manager in ensuring guest safety and smooth operation of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. Oversee commercial performance, cost control and team management while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and water quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with managing budgets for staff, operations and revenue
• Support the Pool Manager in leading a large team
• Oversee daily pool operations, ensuring water quality meets standards
• Coordinate with technical services for maintenance and repairs
• Drive team wellbeing and performance through effective management

Your working hours

• Full-time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday

About You

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / IWS Qualification
• First Aid Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, genuine approach
• Proven management experience, including leading large teams in a similar environment
• Strong customer service skills, ensuring high standards and service performance KPIs

Note: You'll need to complete a Garda vetting before starting (we'll help with that).
