Autism A Chara is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care for adults with autism. This 39-hour-per-week position offers opportunities to work evenings, weekends and rotating night shifts, with generous benefits and development prospects.
The role requires a QQI Level 5 Health/Care qualification, a passion for person-centred support, fluent English, and a full driving licence (desirable for vehicle duties). Employment is Irish-based at time of application.
We initially opened our doors in 2005 as part of a strategic partnership with Autism Initiatives UK. Recently we have decided to make the significant change to operate as a solely run, Irish charity independent of the UK.
