Job summary
Attuned Healthcare is seeking passionate Support Workers / HCA to join our Residential Services in Laois, Portarlington, and surrounding areas. You will provide high-quality, person-centered support in a small residential setting, empowering individuals to live meaningful, independent lives with dignity.
The role offers full-time and part-time positions with salary €29,406–€32,448 DOE, and a commitment to training, wellbeing, and career progression within a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Minimum FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Social Care, or equivalent.
- Strong English communication, IT, report writing, and planning skills.
- Full, clean driving licence (mandatory).
Responsibilities
- Providing person-centered support tailored to individual needs, promoting independence, self-care, and community integration.
- Working collaboratively with individuals to set, review, and achieve personal goals.
- Supporting daily living activities while promoting dignity, autonomy, and informed choice.
- Encouraging skill development and confidence in everyday life.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual support plans.
- Engaging in reflective practice to continually improve care delivery.
- Participating in training, supervision, and team activities to enhance service quality.

Salary: €29,406 – €32,448 DOE

- Pre-Nursing Studies
- Professional Qualification in Teaching (excluding TEFL)

- Support towards Level 7 and Level 8 qualifications
