Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions in Limerick City is recruiting Support Workers for temporary roles. You will work with people living with intellectual disabilities, helping them achieve personalised goals and participate in activities that promote well-being and independence.

Roles run Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You must have QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies or Social Care (or equivalent), hold a full driving license, and be

• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance if lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after age 16.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users and their families in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
• Support participation in social, leisure and training opportunities identified by service users and their families.
• Ensure compliance to HIQA and statutory legislation.
• Update all records accurately and logged on management system.
• Utilise service vehicle to support service transport requirements.

TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) is partnering with a leading Social Care organisation to recruitSupport Workers for temporary roles in Limerick City.

These roles are Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm; this is a temporary role with the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate. Candidates must be available for at least 3 days per week.

You will work with people living with intellectual disabilities and their families to ensure service users achieve their personalised goals and lead fulfilling lives. Supporting with activities, physical, mental and conversational is an important aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users and their families in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
• Support participation in social, leisure and training opportunities identified by service users and their families.
• Ensure compliance to HIQA and statutory legislation.
• Update all records accurately and are logged on management system.
• Utilise service vehicle to support service transport requirements.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies or Social Care (or equivalent)
• Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with no restrictions.
• Full Driving License essential
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
