Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, is seeking a Support Worker/Social Care Worker to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. The role requires a full driver's licence and willingness to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities include supporting people in all areas of life at home and in the community, with a flexible schedule including daytime, evenings and weekends, and potential sleepovers. CORU registration may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care/intellectual disability sector, preferably in residential or day service settings.
• Commitment to people with disabilities; positive, flexible and energetic attitude.
• Ability to support people with disabilities in community settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Available for daytime, evening, and weekend duties including sleepovers.
• Comfortable with lone working.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a secure environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.
• Drive company vehicles as required.
• Support each person in home and community activities.
