Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is seeking a Support Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. This is a permanent, full-time position with a negotiable salary depending on experience. The Saturday rota is shared on a rolling basis among the team, with roughly one Saturday a month and two Saturdays in the third month.

No Sundays, late nights or Bank Holidays are required; MPS is the dispensing system used.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy community pharmacy.
• Flexibility to participate in the Saturday rota.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescription and OTC medicines accurately.
• Providing patient counselling and advice on medication use.
• Supporting the Supervising Pharmacist with daily operations.
• Assisting with stock management and pharmacy administration.
• Delivering pharmacy services such as blood pressure monitoring as required.
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy legislation and SOPs.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a negotiable salary depending on experience. Saturdays are shared on a rolling basis across the team, with each pharmacist covering roughly one Saturday a month, and two Saturdays during the third month of the rotation. • Ensuring compliance with pharmacy legislation and standard operating procedures
