Job summary

QR Select seeks a part-time Support Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy in Galway City. The role is 3 days a week with no weekend shifts, offering a permanent position and ongoing training.

The successful candidate will dispense prescriptions accurately, maintain stock, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. PSI registration and strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

Part-Time Support Pharmacist (Galway City) No Weekends

QR Select are currently recruiting for aSupport Pharmacist for a part-time, permanent position in a busy community pharmacy located in Galway City

The role is 3 days a week

As a Support Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, patients, suppliers, and the wider community.
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pharmacy.
• Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescriptions.
• Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of medications.
• Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, promptly addressing any health and safety concerns with the pharmacy manager.
• Delivering the highest standards of care and service to patients while on duty.
• Participating in ongoing training and development programs provided by the pharmacy.
• Performing other day-to-day duties as required to support the pharmacy team.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• ABSc (Pharm)orMPharmdegree.
