Job summary

QR Select seeks a part-time Support Pharmacist for a busy community pharmacy in Galway City. The role is 3 days a week with no weekend shifts, offering a permanent position and ongoing training.

The successful candidate will dispense prescriptions accurately, maintain stock, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. PSI registration and strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc (Pharm) or MPharm degree.
• Registration as a Pharmacist with the PSI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, patients, suppliers, and the wider community.
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the pharmacy.
• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitoring stock levels and liaising with suppliers to ensure availability of medications.
• Ensuring paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with SOPs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and addressing health and safety concerns.
