Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is assisting a leading National Charity to recruit a Regional Development Officer. You will work closely with the Fundraising Team Lead to support local volunteer fundraising Branches across Leinster and the South-East.

The role requires strong customer service and people management skills, as well as volunteering experience. Travel within the region and some weekend work are expected.

• Experience in people management or leading teams.
• Volunteering experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build relationships with branches across Leinster and the South East and be responsive to their requirements.
• Maximise the success of fundraising events and campaigns in the region
• Help to grow the branches and income in the region.
• Engage with potential clients and volunteers to support the development of the Branches.
• This role will require travel within the region and some weekend work

Experience/Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
• Be able to demonstrate understanding of people management, motivations and working styles.
• Ability to forge strong, lasting relationships within the volunteering communities.
• Comfortable in cold-calling environment.
