Job summary

Stryker in Cork, Ireland, seeks a Supply Planning Manager to lead the supply planning function in a manufacturing setting, ensuring the right products and materials are available when needed while balancing customer demand, inventory, capacity and cost.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in supply planning, production planning or a similar manufacturing supply chain role.
• Experience leading a planning team.
• Strong understanding of MRP, ERP, inventory and production planning and leading an S&OP / IBP process.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence at plant and production cells level.
• Readiness for first line management role based on performance and maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of supply and production plans in line with demand, capacity and inventory requirements.

• Work closely with Manufacturing and Procurement to ensure production and material availability.
• Monitor key supply chain KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
• Identify and deliver improvements to planning processes, systems and ways of working.
• Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems and accurate planning data.

Role Overview

The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for leading the supply planning function within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the right products and materials are available at the right time while balancing customer demand, inventory, capacity and cost. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
