Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Irish or Northern Irish university course for the duration of the placement.
• Honesty and integrity; must comply with quality system, regulations, and company policies.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking in a dynamic, fast, results oriented environment.
• Reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Organised, focused and capable of multi-tasking.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Available for 6, 9 or 12 months – start date to be discussed with Talent Acquisition partner.

Responsibilities

• Identify a Supply Planning project with objectives, scope, milestones and evaluation.
• Support cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class sourcing strategies.
• Assist in supplier/commodity strategy including spend and make-vs-buy analyses.
• Represent the voice of the supplier in the organization.
• Collaborate on contract strategy and monitor when applicable.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and other disciplines.
• Participate in new product launches; lead supplier selection and RFQs.
• Ensure cost standards for annual operating budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety and 5S systems.
