Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to lead the operational ramp-up and transition of a new distribution facility into business-as-usual operations. You will collaborate with project and operational teams, coordinating readiness activities, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure a smooth site launch.

The role requires strong project management in supply chain or logistics, with hands-on delivery focus and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience delivering complex operational change.
• Significant experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution or project environments.
• Strong understanding of operational readiness, mobilisation and go-live activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning, prioritisation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities to support the operational ramp-up of the distribution facility, ensuring readiness for launch.
• Work with operational leadership to transition from project phase to business-as-usual operations.
• Coordinate and track readiness activities, manage risks and dependencies.
• Act as liaison between project team, operations, suppliers and contractors.
• Support the project team with planning, reporting, issue resolution and governance.
• Produce progress reports and provide analytical updates on milestones and go-live preparedness.
• Facilitate communication with operational teams and stakeholders and support post-launch stabilization.
