Job summary

Abbott Diabetes Care Kilkenny is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to coordinate supply chain projects and manage material flow for validation and engineering activities. You will work under limited supervision and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely resource availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum NFQ Level 7 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Excel experience preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead various supply chain projects and provide regular status reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that material is available on time and in full.
• Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete projects and tasks.
• Monitor activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure targets are met.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery.
• Co-ordinate material requests for validation and engineering runs
• Prepare and present regular reports on project updates, material supply and inventory levels
• Work cross functionally to assess, co-ordinate and track planned line downtime required for projects
• Participate in cross-functional projects including new product introductions (NPIs), process improvements, and system implementations.
• Support other Supply Chain functions as required.
