Abbott Diabetes Care Kilkenny is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain planning operations. You will direct planning activities to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective flow of materials from suppliers to customers, while building a high-performing team.

The role requires strong leadership, forecasting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and supply readiness for new products and market changes.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, or a related environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain activities.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving operational improvements.
• Experience managing supplier and vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day production planning, material planning and supply chain projects to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee development and execution of production and supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory policies.
• Analyse schedules, forecasts and capacity to ensure optimized material flow and supply continuity.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to enhance performance.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and financial performance tracking against material spend and working capital targets.
• Manage new product and material introductions (NPI) ensuring supply chain readiness.
