Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy in Dublin is seeking a Supply Chain Planner / Business Analyst to optimise supply chain planning, inventory management and business analysis. You will improve processes, systems and operational performance across multiple channels.

The role requires strong Excel/ERP experience, plus analytical and stakeholder management skills, with experience in Power BI/SQL considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or Engineering, or 5+ years' supply chain experience.
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience.
• Understanding end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, purchasing and logistics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL or similar tools would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of or interest in telecommunications and consumer electronics would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain operations with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Plan product shipments using ERP systems, EPOS data and customer stock information.
• Support demand forecasting, purchasing, inventory management and supplier performance.
• Monitor KPIs, investigate issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyse processes and recommend improvements in efficiency and automation.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
• Work with technical teams on system enhancements, testing and implementation.
• Support supply chain strategy and multi-channel operations.
• Track the impact of changes and drive continuous improvement.
