Job summary

Senneca Holdings in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to lead inventory planning and international freight operations at our IE facility.

You will oversee raw materials, WIP, and finished goods planning, drive cost-efficient material handling, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet customer delivery requirements with high accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, logistics, mathematics, or statistics.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Supply Chain.
• Thorough knowledge of Production Planning, Production Control systems and international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages short and long-range inventory plans for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods to minimize material costs and meet delivery requirements of the customer(s).
• Plans and coordinates data to ensure material is moved and stored at minimum expense to the Company; plans international freight and documentation.
• Manages cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy; oversees production planning, inventory levels and schedules to meet customer requirements at lowest cost.
• Interfaces with other departments to understand current and future product needs and maintain service levels.

Manages cycle counting to ensure a level of accuracy is maintained that meets our business and auditor’s needs. Oversees the preparation and implementation of short- and long-term production plans, inventory levels and schedules that will allow the Company to meet customer requirements properly while maintaining material inventory at lowest possible levels. Liaises with other internal departments to maintain a thorough understanding of current and future product needs.

Maintains a high degree of integrity and fairness in dealings and transactions with all elements of the manufacturing cycle and regularly monitors that activity to ensure its consistency. Evaluates and initiates changes in receiving procedures, warehouse layouts, material handling equipment, and security of inventory. Interfaces with other plant departments as required maintaining a high level of customer service and on-time delivery for both internal and external customers.
