By joining Bio-Techne, you’ll join a company with a powerful and positive purpose of enabling cutting-edge research in Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide. Pay Range: 32,300 - 51,660 EUR Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst supports the day-to-day performance of the Dublin Distribution Centre and the wider EMEA Supply Chain through accurate data analysis, operational reporting and structured problem solving. The role converts supply chain data into clear, actionable information; monitors service, inventory and delivery performance and works closely with Distribution Centre, Purchasing, Intercompany Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Trade Compliance, Quality and IT/ERP teams to resolve issues and improve operational execution. This is a hands‑on, site‑based analyst role. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with practical understanding of warehouse, order fulfilment, inbound supply and ERP processes.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Analysis and Reporting

Prepare, validate and maintain daily, weekly and monthly supply chain reports and dashboards, ensuring data is accurate, timely and clearly presented. Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) including customer on-time delivery (OTD), supplier inbound OTD, backlog, order cycle time, inventory availability, stock coverage, scrap/write‑off, pull‑in performance and Distribution Centre productivity measures. Investigate late, blocked or unfulfilled orders and classify root causes such as site backorders, regional or credit holds, missing or inaccurate master data, transportation delays and warehouse processing issues. Support recurring management reporting, including monthly operating reviews, quarterly business reviews and other EMEA supply chain performance updates. Identify performance trends, exceptions and emerging risks and provide evidence‑based recommendations to the relevant process owners.

Inventory, Supply and Demand Support

Analyse inventory levels, demand history, stock classifications and coverage to support replenishment, purchase‑order and stock‑strategy decisions. Review slow‑moving, obsolete, short‑dated and at‑risk inventory and support actions to reduce scrap, excess stock and working‑capital exposure. Track purchase orders, inbound supply and site backorders; follow up exceptions with Purchasing, Intercompany Supply Chain and manufacturing sites. Support demand and supply reviews by preparing accurate product‑level analysis, highlighting shortages, excesses and changes requiring attention. Assist with stock pull‑ins, allocation reviews, product prioritisation and contingency analysis when supply, regulatory or transportation risks arise.

Dublin DC and Order‑Fulfilment Support

Provide on‑site analytical support to the Dublin DC, helping the team prioritise workload and resolve data or process issues affecting receipt, picking, packing, shipping and invoicing. Analyse shipment and carrier performance across inbound and outbound lanes and support follow‑up on delivery exceptions with carriers and internal stakeholders. Investigate recurring order‑processing issues, including delivery‑address errors, shipping‑label failures, commercial invoice or customs‑document issues, shipment holds and ERP transaction errors. Support accurate shipment documentation and escalation of issues involving dangerous goods, dry ice, temperature‑controlled products, electronic trade documents and customs requirements, in partnership with trained process owners. Help maintain clear operational trackers, exception logs and action lists without introducing unnecessary manual work.

Systems, Data Quality and Continuous Improvement

Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems, Power BI, Excel and related reporting tools to extract, reconcile and analyse supply chain data. Identify master‑data or system issues affecting lead times, order promising, allocation, shipment processing, reporting or invoicing, and document clear evidence for IT/ERP support teams. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), process validation and implemen Maintain process documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures within the role's area of responsibility. Support continuous‑improvement activities by completing root‑cause analysis, measuring results and helping process owners implement agreed corrective actions. Assist with the automation and standardisation of routine reporting to improve accuracy, visibility and efficiency.

Compliance and Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Support data preparation and record accuracy for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Quality, Trade Compliance and internal audit requirements relevant to supply chain and DC operations. Work collaboratively with DC Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Quality, Trade Compliance, IT/ERP and global manufacturing or supply teams. Communicate exceptions, risks and required actions clearly, follow up with action owners and escalated unresolved issues through the appropriate channels. Handle company, customer and supplier information accurately and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
