Job summary

Stryker is recruiting a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) on a fixed term contract in Ireland. The role is hybrid, ending December 2027, with a focus on MDR/UDI supplier implementation and barcode readiness.

You will lead supplier engagements, review PPAPs and barcode validation evidence, and ensure compliance with MDR requirements while coordinating with cross-functional teams on milestones and supplier audits.

Qualifications

• BSc / B.Eng. in a science, engineering or related discipline preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
• 0+ years experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier engagement related to barcode readiness, including kickoff meetings and implementation tracking.
• Review and approve supplier PPAPs, barcode validation evidence, and change notifications.
• Ensure supplier marking systems meet MDR durability and traceability criteria.
• Coordinate resolution of NCs, change control, and inventory disposition workflows.
• Collaborate with ME/QE teams to align supplier deliverables with internal barcode standards and milestones.
• Maintain supplier audit trail and risk-based documentation for MDR compliance.
