Moore Ireland invites applications for its 2027 intern programme in Tax. Successful applicants will join our Tax team to gain hands-on experience in professional accounting, tax and business advisory.

The placement runs January 2027 to June 2027 (flexible). Up to two interns will work on services including personal tax, corporate tax, VAT, and employment tax, with emphasis on timely delivery and client service.

Successful applicants will join our Tax team and help us to provide our clients with professional accounting, tax and general business advice. Moore is a large accounting and advisory firm located in a listed historic building on 83 South Mall. We are Cork’s largest indigenous accountancy firm.

Our Tax Team

At Moore tax, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients in dealing with complex transactions and issues. We offer tax planning solutions to help our clients minimise tax liabilities and we provide a full tax compliance service to help our clients meet their Revenue obligations. We provide the following key services:

• Personal Tax & tax planning
• Corporate tax
• VAT
• Employment Tax
• Mergers and restructuring projects
• Succession planning for corporate & private clients
• Retirement planning
• Buying and selling a business and/or assets

Who we are looking for

We are looking for up to two enthusiastic, passionate, results driven interns to work directly for our Tax team from January 2027 to June 2027 (timeframe is flexible). The successful candidates will likely have a keen interest in a variety of areas, and thrive in a fast-paced, solution-focused, deadline driven environment.
