Moore are delighted to invite applications for our intern programme for 2027. Successful applicants will join our Medical and Professional Group(“M&P”) team and help us to provide our clients with leading edge accounting, tax and general business advice. Moore is a large accounting and advisory firm located in a listed historic building on 83 South Mall. We are Cork’s largest indigenous accountancy firm.

Our M&P team

Our M&P team looks after the needs of a significant portfolio of professionals in Cork. We provide professional services in sectors ranging from medical consultants, GP’s, solicitors, vets, engineers & dentists. We provide the following key services:

• Compliance accounts
• Corporate accounts (audit & audit exempt)
• Law Society reporting
• Personal tax & tax planning
• Corporate tax
• Retirement planning
• Succession
• Forensic accounting
• Buying and selling a business
• Auctioneer client account reports to professional body
• Insurance broker accounts and regulatory matters

In addition, many of our clients are undergoing mergers and restructuring projects, leading to a variety of due diligence and business planning work opportunities. This specialist work is also delivered within our M&P team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, results driven intern from to work directly for our M&P team from January to June 2027 (there or thereabouts). The successful candidates will likely have a keen interest in a variety of areas, and thrive in a fast-paced, solution-focused, deadline driven environment.
