Job summary

Yugo is now inviting applications for its 2026 Student Ambassador positions in Cork, Ireland. These roles are part-time, fixed-term and offer a flexible shift pattern with a minimum of 8 hours per week at national minimum wage.

Student Ambassadors help create a welcoming student living space, support events, manage front desk inquiries, and assist with communications and community engagement. Training and development are provided in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Keen interest in looking after your community and running events.
  • Good general skills such as basic computer skills, communication, and some knowledge of social media.
  • Reliable and trustworthy person who is friendly and approachable.

Responsibilities

  • Be the bridge between staff and students to create a safe environment.
  • Help out with monthly events in line with our student calendars.
  • Create social media content and promote our events.
  • Cover the front desk and help students with enquiries such as mail items.
  • Help with the look and feel of the building by reporting issues and cleaning up if needed.
  • General support to the maintenance team and assistance with check-in and checkout.
  • General admin support such as following up on email enquiries.

As a Student Ambassador here are some of the tasks you can expect to get involved in:

  • Be the bridge between staff and students to create a safe environment
  • Help out with monthly events in line with our student calendars
  • Create social medial content and keep our community up to date and promote our events
  • Cover the front desk and help students with enquiries such as mail items
  • Help out with the look and feel of the building by reporting any issues and cleaning up if needed
  • General support to the maintenance team and assistance with check in and checkout
  • General admin support such as following up on email enquiries
  • Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.
