Job summary

CS Consulting Group is seeking a Structural Technician to support the delivery of structural design projects from concept through to construction in our Dublin office. You will produce detailed drawings and BIM models, contribute to coordinated design solutions, and ensure high-quality technical output across all project stages.

The role offers exposure to residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial and data centre sectors within a collaborative consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering-related field as listed
• Approximately 3 years' experience as Structural Technician in an Irish consultancy
• Strong proficiency in Revit Structure and AutoCAD
• Experience producing structural drawings for building projects
• Good understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry detailing
• Familiarity with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
• Experience in multidisciplinary design teams
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

Your mission

As a Structural Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of structural design projects from concept through to construction. You'll be responsible for producing detailed drawings and BIM models, contributing to coordinated design solutions, and ensuring high-quality technical output across all stages of project delivery.

Working from our Dublin office, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of building types and scales while continuing to build your experience within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment.

• Public sector housing schemes for Local Authorities and the Land Development Agency (LDA)
• Commercial office developments
• Hotels and hospitality projects

• Refurbishment and adaptive reuse of existing buildings
• Commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects

Your profile

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline
• Approximately 3 years' experience working as a Structural Technician within an Irish consultancy environment
