Job summary

Elite Talent Hub Recruitment is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Estimator for a permanent, full-time role in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. You will join a work-winning team delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across Ireland and the UK.

Role focuses on preparing accurate tenders for structural steel packages, reviewing drawings and contract docs, producing BOQs, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel estimating or related role.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and tender documentation.
• Experience with take-offs and BOQ preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for structural steel packages.
• Review tender documents to define full scope of works.
• Create material take-offs and BOQs.
• Prepare enquiry packages and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Identify commercial/technical risks in tender packs.
• Attend tender start-up and bid meetings and site visits as required.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, procurement and construction teams.
• Support timely submission of competitive tenders and handovers.
