Job summary

ORS is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Ireland, delivering innovative structural solutions across life sciences, semiconductor, industrial and commercial developments.

You will be responsible for the structural analysis and design of steel, concrete and other structural systems, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

Proficient with Robot, Tekla, IDEA StatiCa and NavisWorks.
Proficient on BIM360/ACC platforms.
Knowledge of BIM Execution and document control protocols.
Experience in steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Responsibilities

Deliver structural analysis and design for building and infrastructure projects.
Prepare calculations, reports and specifications per Eurocodes.
Produce and review designs using Robot, Tekla, IDEA StatiCa and related tools.
Coordinate designs with BIM models in Navisworks and ACC.
Collaborate with BIM Technicians, Architects and MEP engineers.
Attend design coordination meetings and support project delivery.
Liaise with clients and contractors to resolve technical queries.
Conduct site visits to review progress and provide engineering input.
Support junior engineers with technical guidance.
