Job summary

ORS is a world-class multidisciplinary building consultancy delivering technical excellence across commercial, retail and industrial projects. The Project Engineer (Structural) will own structural design from concept to construction, coordinate with design teams and engage clients to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

Role requires Revit/NavisWorks/AutoCAD proficiency, site-based experience and strong communication to manage multidisciplinary teams and clients across high-profile schemes in

Qualifications

  • Relevant Level 8 structural engineering degree.
  • Solid construction/consultancy experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a client facing role.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously learn and develop.
  • Team player and site based experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structural engineering projects from design through to construction and completion.
  • Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
  • Develop and coordinate structural models and drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and BIM platforms.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams throughout project delivery.
  • Attend site inspections, monitor construction progress and provide technical support during construction.
  • Coordinate project programmes, technical queries and design changes to ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings using Navisworks and BIM360/ACC.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant Irish Building Regulations, Eurocodes and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact on projects.

Job description

About The Role

ORS are seeking a Project Engineer (Structural) to join our growing team, delivering structural engineering projects from concept through to construction. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial developments, you will be responsible for technical design, project coordination and client engagement, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to take ownership of projects while continuing to develop their technical and professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structural engineering projects from design through to construction and completion.

Essential Requirements
