Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Performance Dynamics in Sandyford, Dublin, is hiring Strength & Conditioning Coaches to join our youth, senior, and rehab programs. Shifts include mornings and evenings, with Saturday and bank holiday coverage on a rotation.
You will coach in gym and on the pitch for a range of athletes, write 20–30+ weekly programs, manage your athlete list, and stay in touch with athletes and parents. You’ll use VALD tools and assist rehab with our physio, contributing to program growth and facility upkeep.
We're growing across our youth and senior performance programs, and our brand-new rehab program. We’re hiring Strength & Conditioning Coaches to join our team.
Tell us which shifts you’re available for. You'll need some flexibility to cover the other shift now and then, plus Saturdays and bank holidays on rotation (about one in every three or four).
Coaching sessions. In the gym and on the pitch, for athletes from a wide range of sports and stages of development.
Writing individual programs. For 20 to 30+ athletes a week, based on interpretation of performance testing data and observation.
Managing your own list of athletes. Knowing where every athlete on your list is in their program, what's coming up for them and who needs attention.
Staying in contact. Phoning and messaging athletes regularly: check-ins, missed sessions, progress and program updates. For younger athletes, that includes their parents. You need to be comfortable on the phone.
Performance testing. You'll use VALD force plates, dynamometers and timing gates to profile athletes, and use what you find to shape their training.
Coaching athletes back from injury. Working alongside our physio, you'll take athletes through the later stages of their rehab and back to full training.
Building relationships and growing the programs. As well as coaching, you'll play a part in bringing in new athletes, onboarding them properly and looking after the relationships that keep our programs full. If you only want to coach in your bubble, this isn't the role.
Looking after the facility. Help maintain the equipment and keep the gym an environment our athletes are excited to walk into.
After three months, you're comfortable running your own sessions, managing your own list of athletes from start to finish, and contributing to the wider coaching team.
Every athlete on your list has an up-to-date program built on their testing data, updated and released every week. You have logged each athlete’s sport schedule and you know major competition dates.
Athletes and parents hear from you regularly, not just when something goes wrong.
Your athletes are turning up, improving and staying with us.
You'll be coaching athletes who get tested regularly with force plates and other sports science tools and trained on individual programs built from that data.
You'll join a small, tight team of coaches who care about their athletes and back each other up. There's autonomy, room to grow, and support to keep developing as a coach.
