Job summary

Arup in Dublin offers a work placement in the Strategy Consulting in Cities, Planning and Design Team. You will support turning recommendations into clearly communicated deliverables and practice creative applications of technology to develop design solutions.

You will attend meetings, contribute to client discussions, perform analytical research, and take a structured, first-pass approach to spreadsheets, reports and analyses under supervision, gaining knowledge and experience from the team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong report-writing and general communication skills.
• Solid planning, analytical and organisational skills.
• Willingness to engage with clients and partners in project development.

Responsibilities

• Support the transformation of recommendations into clearly structured project deliverables.
• Apply creative use of technology to develop design solutions.
• Utilise communication skills for report writing and visual representations.
• Attend and participate in meetings, listening and asking questions.
• Undertake analytical research to develop and present concepts.
• Provide structure to ideas with first-pass spreadsheets, reports and analyses for discussion.
• Work on defined tasks under supervision.
