Yahoo is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional technology initiatives within Central Technology. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Strategy & Corporate Technology, you will drive high-impact programs spanning multiple teams.

You will partner with engineering leaders, architects, security and infrastructure to define roadmaps and governance, leveraging AI/automation to improve execution. Mentoring TPMs and executive communication are key success factors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 10+ years leading complex cross-functional technical programs or large-scale initiatives.
• Ability to understand system architecture, dependencies and risks.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex, cross functional technical programs from strategy through execution with clear outcomes and roadmaps.
• Drive strategic initiatives including CMDB capabilities and engineering governance.
• Partner with engineering leaders, security, and stakeholders to identify dependencies and risks.
• Establish lightweight governance to improve accountability and execution.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/automation to improve execution and operations.
• Translate technical issues into clear recommendations for executives and teams.
• Define and promote TPM best practices and mentor other TPMs.
• Serve as a trusted partner to leadership on high priority initiatives.
