Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to serve as the program-management backbone of the newly combined pillar within Enterprise Productivity. The role collaborates with the Principal Engineer on AI-native software delivery across 50+ services and drives governance for the entire org’s programs from Dublin.

The candidate should excel at working with ambiguity, delivering multi-year transformation plans, and mentoring TPMs and engineers.

Qualifications

Experience in technical program management with software engineering teams.
Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
Experience leading complex, large-scale IT/engineering programs.
Experience communicating complex information to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
Experience owning a business operating cadence and presenting results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Partner with EP’s Principal Engineer to program-manage the AI-native SDLC transformation, including spec-driven development, AI-assisted code generation, automated testing, and intelligent CI/CD. Track adoption across Dublin teams and other locations.
Coordinate delivery across the Principal Engineer’s workstreams: AI agent governance, email security modernization, vendor API reliability and observability, and AI-native SDLC.
Own the business operating cadence for the Communicate & Connect org. Run business reviews end-to-end, including the narrative, metrics, and documents.
Build and maintain a single deliverables tracker across every service mapping commitments to goals, status, and risk.
Combine team-level plans into the pillar’s operation plans and goal submissions for EP leadership visibility.
Lead cross-service programs spanning email, Slack, Zoom, and telephony; influence priorities with data-backed decisions.
Spot delivery and operational risks early and present mitigation plans to leadership.
Act as a simplifier by refining and retiring mechanisms to speed delivery.
Participate in hiring and mentoring other TPMs and engineers on program management best practices.
