Job summary

EirGrid plc is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ireland. You will lead end-to-end recruitment across diverse senior roles, partnering with hiring managers to define roles and resourcing plans, while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience and strict compliance.

You will manage multiple assignments, leverage social media and ATS tools to source top talent, and drive KPI performance with a focus on stakeholder collaboration and candidate

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree and typically 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
• Experience managing multiple recruitment assignments, including senior-level roles, in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and resourcing strategies, including social media and digital channels.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality, cost-effective recruitment solutions.
• Ability to build credible relationships with stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Experience recruiting international talent where relevant.
• Advanced proficiency with ATS; Candidate Manager is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage across all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain diverse talent pipelines to meet current hiring needs and future workforce planning.
• Manage the recruitment process efficiently to ensure a high-quality experience for hiring managers and candidates.
• Act as subject matter expert in recruitment and selection; apply self-audit to ensure compliance.
• Partner with hiring managers early to define role requirements and resourcing plans.
• Oversee CV review, longlisting, shortlisting, interview coordination and offers.
• Deliver against hiring KPIs by securing high-calibre candidates across disciplines and levels.
• Contribute to process improvements in response to evolving business needs and trends.
• Provide regular updates on talent acquisition activity and market conditions.
• Leverage digital platforms and sourcing channels to strengthen employer brand.
