Job summary

BT Group, a leading connectivity provider, seeks a Procurement Manager to drive networks procurement strategy across fixed/mobile portfolios. You will lead initiatives in circular economy, process optimisation and asset recovery, delivering clear sourcing strategies and business cases that cut costs and improve value.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Networks, Finance and operations, leveraging data to justify decisions and optimise supplier arrangements.

Qualifications

Experience in strategic procurement and sourcing, from strategy to negotiation and implementation.
Commercial experience with models, benchmarking, assessments, business cases, RFIs, RFQs and RFPs.
Negotiation and stakeholder management across multi‑stakeholder environments, with cross‑team influence.
Understanding of supply chains, continuous improvement and circular economy, with data translating to insights.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver procurement and sourcing strategies across network support, circular economy and process optimisation.
Review OEM spend and support/maintenance arrangements to introduce competition and better models.
Manage end‑to‑end competitive sourcing events (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) from engagement to contracting.
Develop business cases using spend, supplier, demand, inventory and ops data.
Coordinate asset recovery and triage: retrieval, decommissioning, reuse, resale, recycling, disposal.
