Job summary

Novartis Ireland is seeking a seasoned program manager to drive integrated launch planning for priority assets. You will partner with brand teams and IPST leads to ensure comprehensive execution plans, risk management, and governance across all launch workstreams.

The role requires 8+ years in pharma launches or major transformations, PMP/Agile training, and strength in leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of program / project management experience in pharma launches or related fields.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, senior stakeholders and milestones.
• Strong track record leading pharmaceutical launch teams and readiness programs.
• PM training or certifications (PMP/Agile) and proficiency with planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated launch planning across workstreams with clear ownership.
• Define roadmap, critical path, readiness gates, and dependencies.
• Run launch governance and cross-functional orchestration with escalation paths.
• Coordinate resource planning, capacity trade-offs, and decision points.
• Maintain RAID discipline and translate outputs into executable plans.
• Provide concise, senior leadership reporting on status and risks.
• Lead post-launch debriefs and implement repeatable launch standards.
