Job summary

EirGrid Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Internal Communications & Engagement Manager to shape how employees connect with and understand the company strategy, purpose and culture. You will lead communications governance, develop engagement programs and provide leadership messaging across the organisation.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive employee voice, measure impact with data, and elevate townhalls, townhall preparations and channel governance to support business

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications, including experience supporting organisational change and senior leadership communications.
• Proven experience developing and delivering communication and engagement strategies.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and executive communications.
• Experience leading the end-to-end delivery of all-employee townhalls, leadership events or large-scale employee engagement forums.
• Strong experience in organisational change communications.
• Experience using communication data and insights to measure impact and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the internal communications and employee engagement strategy aligned to business and people priorities.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, organisational alignment and employee voice.
• Lead communication frameworks, governance and best practice guidance for leaders and managers
• Advise Executive Directors and senior leaders on employee communications, engagement and organisational change.
• Lead communication planning for strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and organisational change.
• Lead the planning, design and delivery of all-employee townhalls, senior leadership briefings and employee updates, including agenda development, key messages, speaker preparation and follow-up communications.
• Lead and continuously evolve EirGrid’s internal communications channels.
• Lead channel governance and ensure channels support effective communication and engagement.
• Enhance the digital employee communication experience through innovation and continuous improvement
• Build strong partnerships across the organisation to support communication and engagement objectives, ensuring consistency between internal and external messaging.
