Job summary

State Street Investment Management in Dublin is seeking a collaborative Institutional Client Relationship Manager to support senior colleagues in managing a portfolio of institutional client relationships and deliver high-quality service across the client lifecycle.

The role provides exposure to investment consultants, internal teams and governance, requiring strong organisation, client focus and willingness to develop expertise in a global asset management business.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a recognised institution.
• Typically 5 years of experience within financial services, preferably including institutional client service, asset management or related discipline.
• Good working knowledge of investment products and the institutional investment landscape, with the ability and motivation to develop deeper expertise.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable client relationship management system is desirable.
• An investment-related postgraduate or professional qualification, or progress towards one, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support senior relationship managers in managing a portfolio of institutional client relationships and deliver responsive service.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders, investment consultants, trustees and other contacts.
• Coordinate onboarding and mandate implementation by tracking deliverables and communicating clearly.
• Develop understanding of client objectives and servicing requirements to support retention.
• Maintain knowledge of our investment products and capabilities, and communicate information clearly.
• Prepare for investment reviews and due diligence meetings, coordinating materials with specialists.
• Maintain complete client information in Salesforce, including notes, stakeholders and actions.
• Support AML/KYC requirements during onboarding and lifecycle.
• Demonstrate risk excellence by adhering to governance and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve queries and deliver actions in a timely manner.
• Contribute to initiatives to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
