Job summary

Regeneron in Ireland is seeking a Senior Specialist Global Procurement to join our Procurement team. The role focuses on defining and implementing the global Direct Category strategy, collaborating with stakeholders and leading negotiations, supplier management, and cost optimization.

You will use data and market insights to drive decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the growth and efficiency of Regeneron's procurement function in a dynamic biopharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and relevant, progressive procurement experience in pharma/biopharma.
• Proficient with sourcing contracting tools and eRFx systems and ERP platforms.
• Ability to use standard business applications to communicate, present, and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the global Direct Category strategy with global and regional needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities with Procurement management.
• Assist negotiations, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement for Direct Category.
• Generate value through cost savings, cash flow improvements, and efficiency gains.
• Support decision-making in Direct categories with long-term impact on the team.
• Apply knowledge of global procurement processes to drive improvements at Regeneron.
