Job summary

Primark is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation across sales, opex and capex. You will manage a four-member FP&A team and partner with stakeholders to deliver timely insights that support decision making in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 8+ years post-qualified experience in a commercial finance focused role.
• Direct previous experience leading an FP&A team in a fast paced commercial environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to structure and present a compelling story to stakeholders.
• Comfortable in an unstructured, consultative setting with a focus on value creation.
• Excellent organizational, planning and delegation skills; able to manage multiple deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team that develops and maintains budgets and forecasts for group wide sales, opex and capex.
• Lead the consolidation and management of the P&L, balance sheet and cashflow for all FP&A activities.
• Partner with functional leaders to understand financial performance, provide insights, and support decision-making.
• Prepare and present insightful reports and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting costs, performance trends, and key insights.
• Analyse trends, identify opportunities for optimisation, and track KPIs.
• Stay informed of industry trends and macro insights to anticipate risks and opportunities.
• Drive delivery across multiple teams and maintain alignment with group priorities.
• Build communication channels with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support strategic planning and decision making.
