Job summary

Grá Chocolates seeks a Financial Controller to own day-to-day finances, lead budgeting, and drive long-term planning for a luxury, digital-first brand. You’ll oversee Xero, Shopify integration, VAT, and payroll while partnering with the CEO on strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates are ICA/ACCA/CMA/CPA qualified, with strong Excel/Google Sheets, data-driven mindset, and ability to manage board-ready reporting and governance in a fast-growing Irish business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with Irish tax and payroll knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing/retail a plus.
• Ability to implement AI-driven finance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day financial controls and reporting.
• Oversee payroll, VAT, and compliance for Irish and international activities.
• Manage inventory valuation, COGS, and stock governance with ERP tooling.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and reports for the CEO and board.
• Coordinate integration between Shopify and Xero for seamless data flow.
