Job summary

IMMA, Ireland’s national cultural institution for modern and contemporary art, invites applications for a Financial Controller role. Reporting to the COO, you will lead IMMA’s finance function, shape strategy, govern procurement and compliance, and partner with the Senior Management Team to steward public resources and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Membership of a recognised professional accountancy body and PQE in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and financial control.
• Experience leading and developing teams; strong governance, audit, risk management and internal control knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills; ability to present financial information to Boards/Committees.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and advise on organisational decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning; deliver robust financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance; oversee grants and capital expenditure.
• Manage procurement governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement; lead and develop the Finance Team.
