Job summary

Realtime Recruitment seeks a senior technology professional to own enterprise integration architecture within a complex, multi‑platform environment, defining standards and guiding major transformation programmes. You will design and govern APIs, event‑driven patterns, messaging, ETL/ELT and service‑based integration, while providing architecture leadership across programmes.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience with enterprise integration.
Proven track record designing integration architectures in complex environments.
Strong knowledge of API-led integration, event-driven design and messaging.
Experience with Azure integration technologies and iPaaS platforms.
Experience with MuleSoft, TIBCO, IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ or similar.
SAP BTP Integration Suite experience or similar ERP integration framework.
Experience working with distributed/offshore teams.
A relevant third-level qualification.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve integration principles, standards, patterns and reference architectures.
Design and govern complex integration solutions spanning APIs, event-driven architecture, messaging, ETL/ELT and service-based integration.
Provide architecture leadership across major transformation and technology programmes.
Guide teams delivering A2A, B2B and streaming integrations, using API-led, messaging and other appropriate integration approaches.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture and technology leadership to align integration strategy with wider IT objectives.
Provide technical assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle and ensure architectural intent is maintained.
Contribute to technology assessments, vendor selection and strategic technology decisions.
Develop integration capability through standards, reusable patterns, knowledge sharing and technical mentoring.
Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly the impact of AI on integration and data architecture.
Take a pragmatic, hands-on approach when required, supporting the development and testing of integration components.
