Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a seasoned Technical Integration Architect to shape the integration architecture for global business. You will design scalable, secure, and reusable solutions across SaaS, on-premises apps, APIs, middleware, and cross-platform connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience translating complex strategic requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to create visual diagrams using Miro, Draw.io or similar tools.
• Experience integrating on-premises and SaaS applications; API design patterns and RESTful principles.
• Experience with Google Apigee, AWS integration services, Oracle Integration, or Oracle Fusion Middleware/SOA Suite.
• Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, architecture frameworks, and messaging protocols.
• Hands-on development experience and ability to guide developers on GitHub workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of enterprise integration solutions involving middleware, APIs, and cross-platform connectivity.
• Analyze requirements to define scalable, secure, and supportable integration solutions.
• Partner with IT, EA, delivery teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Establish reusable integration assets, patterns, and reference architectures across middleware and API platforms.
• Provide architectural oversight across the full integration lifecycle from design to transition to support.
• Mentor developers on advanced concepts, integration patterns, and platform capabilities.
• Communicate direction and risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences including leadership.
• Incorporate AI-enabled integration capabilities where they deliver value while maintaining security and scalability.
• Drive continuous improvement in architecture practices and evolving technologies.
• Lead Architecture Review Board governance to ensure alignment with standards and strategy.
