Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Commercial Environmental, Health and Safety Lead for APAC & EMEA to translate global EHS direction into regional priorities and drive governance, compliance and performance. The role partners with business leaders to integrate EHS into planning and decision-making, coaching regional teams and strengthening cross-functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will lead risk management, sustainability initiatives and program excellence across multiple regions,

Qualifications

• Level 8 honours Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in people or program leadership.
• Demonstrated experience implementing EHS strategies, governance frameworks, management systems and compliance assurance programs.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the Commercial EHS strategy across APAC and EMEA, aligning regional priorities with global EHS direction and business objectives.
• Partner with regional leaders to integrate EHS into operational planning and strengthen safety culture and leadership engagement.
• Translate regional business needs into actionable plans, milestones and governance processes.
• Implement and maintain EHS governance processes across APAC and EMEA, including management reviews and performance monitoring.
• Lead deployment and continuous improvement of standardized EHS programs, including risk assessments and incident management.
• Translate global objectives into regional performance targets and communicate outcomes to leadership.
