Job summary

Sysco Ireland is seeking a Credit Controller for a 6 month FTC based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. The role focuses on managing the debtors ledger, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will report to the assistant credit manager and work with Sales and Pricing teams to optimise cash flow while meeting KPIs; 2+ years in credit is preferred, with Excel and Dynamics 365 AX advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years credit/accounts experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation skills; ability to travel with a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the debtor ledger for the company and report to the assistant credit manager.
• Maintain regular customer contact by phone and email.
• Negotiate and agree payment plans; pursue overdue debts.
• Liaise with Sales, Pricing and front‑office teams to ensure timely collections.
• Produce and analyse debt ledgers and reports; support SOX compliance.
• Train new staff on department SLAs and procedures.
• Weekly/Monthly reporting on performance metrics.
