Job summary

Leinster Appointments Ltd in Naas is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role will manage a high-volume customer ledger, chase payments and ensure accounts are accurate and up-to-date.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in Credit Control/AR, strong relationship-building, excellent communication, and good IT skills. A Credit Management qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within Credit Control / Accounts Receivable.
• Experience managing a high-volume customer ledger is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A relevant Credit Management qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection of outstanding customer balances in line with targets.
• Allocate customer payments to accounts accurately.
• Monitor debt levels and follow up on overdue balances.
• Manage a high-volume customer account portfolio.
• Set up new customer accounts and establish credit limits.
• Ensure credit limits and payment terms are adhered to.
• Handle customer account queries and disputes; provide timely resolutions.
• Balance the cash book and complete AR month-end processes.
• Maintain up-to-date customer account information.
