Job summary

Meta seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager to join the Finance team in Ireland. This individual contributor role owns compensation and benefits reporting end-to-end, shaping accounting processes and controls, and partnering with Payroll, Equity, and external service providers to scale them.

Responsibilities include payroll accounting, quarterly SEC reporting support, and leading system enhancement projects. You will collaborate across regions to standardize processes and leverage AI to accelerate

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience in the Record-to-Report or Corporate Accounting function of a large multinational.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience applying US GAAP.
• Experience leading end-to-end process or system improvement projects.
• Experience communicating financial results to senior stakeholders across locations.
• Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel, and understanding end-to-end systems that affect accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own key compensation and benefits financial reporting areas (P&A and balance sheet) within Corporate and Infrastructure Accounting.
• Perform and review payroll accounting and reporting as part of Meta's monthly US GAAP close.
• Deliver timely reporting for the quarterly SEC reporting cycle, including management reporting and analysis.
• Maintain compliance with key controls and audit requirements, and support statutory compliance teams.
• Lead projects to design, test, and roll out new financial reporting systems and tools.
• Define and drive standardization of compensation and benefits accounting processes across regions and entities.
• Build partnerships with outsourced service providers and cross-functional teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to non-finance partners on the financial impact of operations.
• Apply AI and automation to prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
