Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Compliance and Operational Risk Specialist to support the second line of defense across Front-Line Units, Control Functions and Third Parties. The role emphasizes adherence to Global Compliance and Operational Risk policies, risk assessment, escalation and reporting.

The position is aligned with a corporate title up to Vice President and offers flexibility with location in London or Dublin.

Qualifications

Experience in monitoring, surveillance and testing to support risk controls.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management.
Ability to produce clear risk reporting and escalation materials.
Familiarity with policy and procedure governance and controls.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist in risk assessments and control effectiveness for frontline units and vendors.
Support independent compliance and operational risk oversight activities.
Ensure alignment with Global Compliance and Operational Risk policies.
Identify and escalate issues, driving root-cause analyses and mitigations.
Develop risk reporting for management routines across coverage areas.
Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries, audits and examinations.
Monitor regulatory changes and maintain an up-to-date regulatory inventory.
