Job summary

MSL Engineering Ltd is seeking an stores/materials handler to support warehouse operations at our Cork workshop. You will read work packs, verify receipts, and move materials around the workshop while maintaining safety and tidy stores areas. Forklift experience is essential and side loader experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is essential.
• Previous stores experience desirable.
• Knowledge of isometrics is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical process materials (pipes, fittings, gaskets) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read ISO/work packs and gather materials.
• Verify quantities against packing slips and POs.
• Sign off delivered materials to stores.
• Load and unload deliveries and materials.
• Keep stores and laydown areas tidy, organised and safe.
• Move materials around the workshop as required.
• Support unloading of gas deliveries.
• Maintain housekeeping in stores and pipe laydown areas.
• Distribute materials to Workshops as needed.
• Assist Stores team with general duties.
• Ensure loading/unloading follows EHS requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding ISOs and work packs. Gather materials required.

• Verifying quantities received against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Ensuring materials delivered to stores are correctly signed off.

• Loading and unloading deliveries and materials.

• Keeping the Stores and surrounding areas tidy, organised and safe.

• Moving and positioning materials around the Workshop as required.

• Supporting the unloading of gas and other deliveries.

• Maintaining good housekeeping within Stores and Pipe laydown areas.

• Assisting with the distribution of materials to the Workshops.

• Supporting the Stores team with general duties when required.

• Ensuring all loading and unloading activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant EHS requirements.

• Forklift experience is essential and side loader experience is an advantage.

• Previous Stores experience and an understanding of isometrics would be an advantage, Knowledge of mechanical process materials, particularly pipe and fittings, pipe shoes, bolts, gaskets etc would be a distinct advantage.
