Job summary

MSL Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Coordinator to support mechanical construction projects in Ireland. You will liaise with trades, monitor progress and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires reading isometrics, using NavisWorks, MS Word and Excel, plus strong organisational and communication skills. We offer a competitive salary, career development and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience on mechanical construction projects is essential.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and interpret drawings.
• Proven organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
• Knowledge of NavisWorks 3D model is essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.
• Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Attend white board morning meetings.
• Ensure labour requirements are met per project program.
• Maintain high quality of works on site.
• Coordinate Subcontractors' work efficiently.
• Notify variations and delays to CM & PM.
• Ensure plant materials onsite meet specs.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and coordinated.
• Verify Subcontractors Plant and access equipment are certified.
• Address Health & Safety on site and promote safe work practices.
• Review ways of working and implement safety improvements.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards among all Sub Contractors.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.
• Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Attending white board morning meetings.
• Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
• Ensuring the quality of the works is maintained at a high level.
• Ensure that the Subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible.
• Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to CM & PM.
• Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
• Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner.
• Ensuring all Subcontractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition.
• Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Subcontractors are working in a safe manner.
• Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.

Requirements:

• Experience working on Mechanical construction projects in relevant industries sectors is essential (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Semi-Conductor or Oil & Gas)
• Ability to read isometric drawings
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
• Ability to use Navis Works 3D Model is essential
