Job description

Munters Corp Ireland designs and manufactures precision air-conditioning equipment for data centres, telecommunications, specialty storage and building-services markets. Our technology supports critical applications where quality, reliability and sustainable climate control are essential.

Role purpose: To support the safe, accurate and efficient movement, storage, receipt, kitting and dispatch of materials across Stores, Warehousing and Production. The successful candidate will be flexible and may support different departments as operational needs require.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety and Housekeeping Comply with company health and safety requirements and use material-handling equipment safely. Complete required equipment checks and maintain the relevant logs. Maintain clean, organised and hazard-free Stores, Warehousing and Production areas. Report damaged materials, unsafe conditions or equipment issues promptly, and suggest practical improvements where appropriate.
  • Goods Receipt and Material Inspection Receive, track, inspect and verify incoming materials and components against packing slips and purchase orders. Ensure goods are received accurately and on time, with records complete and readily available for inspection. Identify and report damaged, incorrect or non-conforming deliveries; isolate rejected materials and communicate with relevant departments. Remove and segregate packaging materials such as plastic, wood, paper and cardboard in the designated areas.
  • Inventory Control and Storage Organise and store purchased goods, semi-finished goods, parts and components in designated locations, following safety and labelling standards. Apply FIFO principles and ensure all stock under Stores/Warehousing control is stored correctly. Participate in cycle counts, investigate and reconcile discrepancies, and communicate corrective or process-improvement actions. Monitor stock levels, replenish Kanban bins and notify the supervisor of shortages or replenishment needs. Record all material movements, transactions and adjustments accurately in paper logs and inventory management systems.
  • Production Support and Kitting Transport materials, parts and subassemblies to designated production drop zones and assembly stations using approved equipment. Kit production orders accurately and in line with production requirements. Ensure assembly teams have the materials, tools and equipment required to complete assigned work. Identify shortages or shortfalls and communicate them promptly to Supply Chain, Production, Quality and other relevant teams. Expedite urgent or late materials to Production and ensure all associated transactions are accurately recorded. Remove excess materials, scrap, segregated waste and finished products from assembly areas to designated locations.
  • Shipping and Dispatch Prepare outbound shipments and supporting information on time and in coordination with the Logistics team. Load and secure shipments appropriately to minimise the risk of damage in transit. Complete all shipping and dispatch paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Communication and Continuous Improvement Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members and other departments regarding material status, priorities and operational needs. Support improvements in Stores, Warehousing, inventory accuracy, material flow and workplace safety. Work flexibly across relevant departments when required to support business needs.
Candidate Profile

Experience and Knowledge 1-3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse/stores operations or manufacturing; mechanical or electrical assembly experience is an advantage. Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components and basic assembly processes is desirable. Basic computer skills and experience using ERP, MRP or other inventory-management systems.

Ability to use forklifts, pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely; relevant certification is required where applicable. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexible, reliable and willing to support different departments in response to operational requirements.

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely lift and carry materials in line with site procedures and manual-handling training. Ability to undertake frequent standing, walking, bending and reaching. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where noise and machinery are present.
