The role reports to the Retail Area Manager and involves community engagement and cost‑effective brand promotion. The successful candidate will excel in leadership, customer service, and retail operations, with a proven ability to develop staff and exceed targets.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed ongoing retail store sales targets.
• Ensure visual merchandising is attractive and aligned with weekly promotions.
• Recruit and develop staff, volunteers and social activation employees to foster a positive team culture.
• Maintain adequate staffing to cover daily and weekly trading periods.
• Ensure goods are high quality and store remains clean and professional at all times.
• Oversee donated goods, pricing, presentation and stock rotation.
• Manage store accounting procedures including banking, till receipts and cash handling.
• Ensure inventory and security of equipment and fittings.
• Lead and support store and community fundraising events.
• Promote the Vision Ireland brand through local channels while maintaining brand standards.
